Ownership; Restrictions

• With a view to protect the collective interest of all participants of any service offered by this web site, STCAA expressly reserves the right to refuse your application or terminate your participation without any reason being given to you. Nonetheless, in the event of your application being refused or participation being terminated, STCAA will notify you of its decision by post or by electronic mail at the address you provided and, if the Committee Members of STCAA deem it appropriate, inform you of the reason(s) of refusal or (as the case may be) termination.

Discussion Forums

If you participate in any ChatBoard, bulletin boards, or other forum within the site, you agree to not:

• Post, distribute or otherwise make available any Content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable;
• post or distribute any material that infringes and/or violates any right of a third party or any law;
• post or distribute any vulgar, obscene, discourteous or indecent language or images;
• post or distribute any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials;
• post or distribute material that contains software viruses or any computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment or any other similarly destructive activity; or
• post material or make statements that do not generally pertain to the designated topic or theme of any chat room or bulletin board.

STCAA reserves the right at all times to edit, disclose, refuse to post, request removal of, or remove any materials in the ChatBoard, bulletin boards, or other forums as may be necessary to comply with any law, regulation or government or agency request or if, in STCAA's sole discretion, such material is objectionable or in violation of these Terms of Use. STCAA is not responsible for material submitted to STCAA or posted in ChatBoard, on bulletin boards or on other forums by users of the site. By communicating with STCAA or participating in any forum in the site you grant STCAA an irrevocable, transferable and worldwide right to use, reproduce, publicly perform and display, distribute, sublicense, and sell any information, suggestions, ideas, drawings or concepts communicated to STCAA for any purpose STCAA chooses, commercial, public or otherwise, without any compensation to you whatsoever.

Disclaimer of Warranties and Damages; Limitation of Liability

• STCAA makes no representation that the materials contained in the site are appropriate or authorized for use in all countries, states, provinces, county or any other jurisdictions. If you choose to access this site, you do so on your own initiative and risk and are responsible for compliance with all applicable laws.

Termination

• This agreement is effective until terminated by STCAA for any reasons, with or without notice. Upon any termination of this agreement, you shall immediately discontinue your use and access of the site and destroy all materials obtained there from.

Updates

• STCAA may amend or modify this Agreement or impose new conditions at any time upon inclusion of a notice on the site signifying that this agreement has been updated. Any use of the site by you after such update shall be deemed to constitute acceptance by you of such amendments, modifications or new conditions.

Miscellaneous

• This agreement will be governed by Hong Kong Common law without effect to any principles of conflicts of laws. If any provision of this agreement is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
